I worked at the Museum of London for 22 years. I cared for the collection of paintings, prints and drawings which I catalogued, researched and expanded. I was particularly interested in the 17th century when the image of London was born. I was also committed to developing contemporary collections and endeavoured to create a platform for artists dealing with London as their subject. I acquired some of their works for the Museum’s collection and publicised their output through exhibitions and publications (see below).
